Volunteerism

 VOLUNTEERING @YMCAKL!

Be a part of YMCA’s heartbeat and greatest stronghold: Our Volunteers.

The essence of YMCA KL’s Programmes Department derives from the dedication of not just the earliest staff since the 1900s but also the volunteers and staunch generosity of donors for more than a century. We have grown from the 1910s when young dedicated men become our earliest volunteer units through the YMCA KL Social Service League back in the 1920s. They went far and wide to serve and help improve Klang Valley communities for social development. The Social Service League has now evolved to become the YMCA KL Volunteers. The YMCA KL Programmes became the core and benchmark for other special units in this organisation to thrive; including the Pusat Majudiri ‘Y’ For the Deaf and the Senior Citizens’ Club with their own set of volunteers as well as our advocating focus on Youth Empowerment, Sports Development, Community Service Projects, Global Alternative Tourism Network (GATN) and other social caused projects.

GIVE BACK TO SOCIETY WITH US @YMCAKL

Serve the community even while you’re in School or University!
