We’re not leaving out the Seniors in our YMCA journey towards a strong and healthy life.
The Senior Citizens’ Club has been the most energetic and highly successful club at YMCA KL; catering for seniors aged 55 years and above. It began humbly in 1984 with seven visionary men who wanted to initiate a club for retirees and grew today, to be a stronghold of energetic and an inspiring benchmark for Seniors Clubs in the Klang Valley.
How To Join The Club
Learn how to be a part of the coolest Senior Citizens’ crowd in the Klang Valley!
The Senior Citizens’ Club is open to all YMCA Members 55 years and above. Entrance fees is RM20.00* and the Yearly Subscription is RM20.00. Membership expires on the 31st of December every year. The Club Members meet every Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Dewan Lee Kong Chian for exercise, dancing, singing, harmonica and fellowship.
Basic Rules & Regulations
Please read these instructions:
· Kindly be reminded to renew your SCC Membership by the last day of February every year. Renewals after the said date will not be accepted and Members would have to re-apply to join the Club.
· Members who fail to produce the SCC Membership Card upon request would be treated as a Guest and would be required to pay the Guest Fee of RM5.00
· Members are also reminded to wear their SCC Membership Tags during the gathering or be subjected to a fine of RM5.00
· Non-Members are not allowed to join the activities but if you so wish to bring a guest, please sign in your guest accordingly and pay the Guest Fee of RM5.00.

RATES: RM140.00 Per Month (For Senior Citizens’ Club Members Only) RM180.00 Per Month (For YMCA KL Members Only)
Course Days: Training Once Weekly Saturdays @ 11:15am – 12:15pm
Total Training Hours / Course: Total of Twelve (12) Hours Per Course.
Course Outline: Understanding Structure & Scale of Tremolo Harmonicas Mouth Shape Exercises for Monotone Playing Simple Harmonica Exercises of 3, 5, 6, and 7 Notes Scales Middle Octave
Harmonica Course Details: You will need a ‘C’ Key Harmonica. New students without a harmonica may buy a harmonica from the Instructor at the start of the course.
